My musical interests as they evolved and music that moves me.   Old-time music is what I play mostly now. "Old-time" means the traditional music of the Appalachian region, for the most part. Included here is my own family tree as well as links to other interesting genealogical pages and sites. I learned to read by looking over my parents' shoulders. Here are some of the books that have meant a lot to me in my life.   I have been a film buff and collector of films on tape and DVD for a long time. Here are some of my favorites.   I am a Libertarian, with some sympathy for non-violent anarchists.   I am a liberal Mormon, if you can believe such exist.
