Will the Internet become an alternative way to publish papers and articles? I expect it will. Here are some of my articles I am making availble in this mode with short abstracts of each. Don Juan as Psychopath The character of Don Juan is one of the great archetypes of literature. He was first created by a 17th Century Spanish Priest, Tirso de Molina. My thesis is that Tirso had observed psychopaths and used these observations to create the character of Don Juan, so well does Don Juan fulfill the clinical criteria for the diagnosis. This paper contains descriptive material about psychopaths and analysis of the character in Tirso's play El burlador de Sevilla. There are large blocks of quotations from the play in Spanish.   Kubrick's Psychopaths Many characters in the films of director Stanley Kubrick are psychopaths. For example, Alex, in A Clockwork Orange is classic. This paper discusses psychopaths, and Kubrick's use of them in his films.
