--Pattern is just a combining of our class project blocks.

--Batik print fabrics and coordinating solids, all of cotton.

--Machine pieced and machine quilted on a "short-arm" Janome 3000 by Charlee Banks, 2002.

Description Details

My daughter, Kyle Sue Baker, and I took a beginning applique class from Mardi Eggers of Dundee, Oregon. We each made two of the four patterns in the quilt. I took the four block and made a little quilt to practice machine quilting on. The quilting designs are my own and I used the machine trapunto technique I learned from Hari Walner's books.
