--Flannel print fabric, embroidery, and "Chenille By the Inch"--all of cotton

--Machine pieced by Kyle Sue Baker. Machine quilted and hand embroidered by Kyle's mother, Charlee Banks in 2002.

Description Details

Kyle took the quilting class from Sandi Ray with me and created this quilt for her guest bedroom. I offered to quilt it for her. I used a clamshell pattern and a walking foot. The green accent fabric was more dominant than we liked so I toned it down with blue embroidery. The attached chenille runs along the edge of the twin-sized bed. The flannel created bulky seams to work with, but is wonderful in its softness.
