This was the first quilt I cut and pieced. I didn't need a bed quilt, so I thought it would be a nice tablecloth (covered with clear upholstery vinyl for mealtime use, of course). I chose to make it reversible without knowing what a challenge that would be for a first quilt. I took another class from Sandi Ray to learn free-motion quilting and practiced on this quilt. The print areas have stipple quilting and the solid areas have my interpretation of blueberry flowers, leaves and fruit. It was quilted so densely that it lies flat as a tablecloth. I like to say that the lighter side is for lunch and the darker side is for dinner.
