- Dimensions: 42 " Wide x 54" Long
- Pattern: "Nana's Garden" pattern by Quilt-In-A-Day
- Fabrics: Cotton prints and unbleached cotton muslin fabric
- Construction: Machine pieced and machine quilted on a "short-arm" Bernina 165 by Charlee Banks in 2003.
- Notes: To quilt the leaves in the center blocks I Xeroxed leaf prints onto water-soluble paper and machine quilted over the paper. When washed, the paper dissolved. I used 30-weight polyester topstitching thread for the leaf stitching. I like the way it "floats" on the fabric surface. Polyester batting gives a loftier look. I colored the leaves with water-soluble crayons and pencils.
