Particle Physics Cloud Chamber

Dimensions: 14.5 x 24.5 inches Pattern: from a computer screen image I saw on a Nova TV show on PBS. Construction: I painted the blue & white pattern with Dynaflow paint onto Habotai silk. I quilted it on a Bernina 165 sewing machine and embellished it by hand in 2005. Notes: Physicists can see images like this on their computer screens when they bombard atomic particles in a “cloud chamber.” The trails and patterns allow identification and discovery.
